Hi! My name is Lorenzo I am an Italian freelance journalist and you are definitely on my blog now. Thank you so much already!
For five years I have worked at a non-profit international organisation whose main goal is to raise awareness about organised crime and corruption related issues. There I was in charge of the Communication & Information office and such role gave me the priceless opportunity to understand a great deal of how the criminal world functions and the incredible impact it has on our society on a global level.
Also, I have had the chance to meet a lot of international journalists who work in this field. It was a great experience and, as everything in our world, it too ended. I am grateful to the people who gave me the opportunity to work there and I am now walking the path of freelance journalism. And guess what? Yep, still reporting on organised crime and corruption!
However, on my blog you’ll also find posts of a more frivolous nature, such as book and movie reviews and short stories. Why? Cause I like that! And it keeps my writing in shape.
My articles appeared on The Guardian, Global Post, 100Reporters, Insight Crime, Il Fatto Quotidiano, East Journal, The Post Internazionale, Narcomafie, Valori. I am also co-founder and member of IRPI – Investigative Reporting Project Italy, the first and only Italian association of investigative journalism.
Thanks for reading!
